 Everything is bigger in Texas. AchieveTexas combines rigorous academics with relevant career education to prepare Texas students to compete and win in the global marketplace. The goal of AchieveTexas is to prepare students and allow them to choose an education plan that is best for their goals and talents.Spanish Guide

AchieveTexas extends Tech Prep's relevant career preparation activities and focuses on lifelong learning for lifetime success. Students are encouraged to view learning as a process. 

The Resource Guide for school counselors gives an overview of essential AchieveTexas information, how to implement Texas Achievement Plans (TAPs), enhance career guidance, and answer questions. For a copy of the Counselor's Guide, select the guide.

AchieveTexas Programs of Study (POS) and Covers Supporting Resources for the 16 Career Clusters       

Programs of Study (POS) have been created for each of the 16 Career Clusters and are accessible by clicking on the icons below.  The programs of study reflect current occupations and represent all 79 POS as cited on www.careerclusters.org.  POS are designed for students but can also be used with administrators, counselors, teachers, business and industry representatives, and parents.  POS contain lots of helpful information, including the core courses and career-related electives in high school that will help prepare students for their career goals.  The POS are based upon the Recommended High School Graduation Plan and can easily be adapted for the Distinguished Achievement High School Graduation Plan.
